Cultivating grass margins for arable weeds:

Rare arable weeds most frequently occur on field edges, but this is also where we have Stewardship grass margins. Once the grass sward it established there is little opportunity for arable weeds to grow. So, at the farm’s best site for Long-stalked Crane’s-bill, we have permission to cultivate a small area of Stewardship grass margin.
