Eostre Organics

Some of the produce we sell that we do not grow here is bought from Eostre Organics. They are a cooperative of organic growers from the East of England region. We also sell wholesale crops to them. Their website includes details of growers (both local and overseas) and some stories of how vegetables are produced.

Soil Association

We are certified by the Soil Association, so these are the people who inspect us each year. Their website includes lots of information about organic growing, food, the environment and news updates.

HDRA (The Henry Doubleday Research Association)

We are members of the HDRA. They are very good for advice on growing and have been particularly helpful for us with tips about fruit growing and controlling flea beetle. Their website includes

Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA)

This is the government department that oversee most of the initiatives to do with farming and the environment. They run the Rural Enterprise Scheme (RES) which helped fund some of our marketing work (go to www.defra.gov.uk/erdp/schemes/res/default.htm ). Their website includes information on the Environmental Stewardship Scheme and the things farmers are now required to do to help the environment in order to get subsidy payments (go to www.defra.gov.uk/erdp/schemes/es/default.htm ).

Courtyard Farm, Ringstead, Norfolk tel: 01485 525251
