Abbey Farm Wild Bird Food

PLEASE NOTE - due to a poor crop, we are unlikely to be selling bird food in the 2007-08 winter.

Abbey Farm produces wild bird food that is particularly suitable for species like Chaffinch, Greefinch, Yellowhammer, Reed Bunting, Dunnock, House Sparrow and Tree Sparrow. The feed is a mixture of seeds, including small grains of barley and wheat, sunflower and weed species like fat hen, charlock and bindweed. Most of the ingredients are grown on Abbey Farm, but the wheat is purchased from a farm 7 miles away. We try to buy the sunflower as locally as possible, most usually Norfolk or Lincolnshire.

Please note that most of the ingredients of this bird food are not organic.

The mix is usually on sale from mid-October to March. The seed can be delivered on our box scheme delivery run or is on sale direct from the farm (as signposted from the bird hide car park). See directions...
